2021

A repeating black steel frame carries light wood shelves in a fully regular grid across the full width and height of the wall, the strict repetition itself becoming the piece's discipline rather than something to soften. At the base, low cabinetry finished in vertical and horizontal slatted panels imitates the act of stacking books, echoing the shelving's function above and resolving the piece less as furniture than as an architectural intervention that organizes the wall itself.
