Built from folded sheet metal bent into a sequence of zigzagging planes within a rigid rectangular frame, Sway turns an unforgiving material into something that reads like a frozen dance, each fold tilting into the next at a different angle so no plane repeats. The angled surfaces catch light differently across the piece, fracturing what could be a solid black mass into shifting fields of highlight and shadow that change with the viewer's movement, holding weight and lightness in the same object.
